How many 10-year-olds say they’d like to be a real estate agent when they grow up? Not many. I wasn’t the exception. While I love being a Realtor now, my career began in journalism. I was honored to receive a Philadelphia Press Award for “best series in the public interest.” I went on to provide marketing and communications services to Fortune 500 companies. And, if you’ve ever suffered insomnia or enjoyed shopping from your sofa, you may have seen me on TV when I was a top-selling guest host on QVC, the home shopping network.
As the founder of a child abuse awareness blog and founder of a non-partisan political action committee, I advocate for better child protection laws on the state level.
Why does this matter to you? My success is rooted in knowledge-gathering, communication, strategic creativity, negotiation and caring about others. This is how I help you make well-informed decisions under less stress with a competitive advantage. The process can even be fun.
My husband, Damian Dachowski, is a talented dentist and drummer (I’m biased but it’s true). You can hear his band play locally in Mount Pleasant after a check-up. Our son attends the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and our daughter graduated Penn State (“We Are”) and works in NYC on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (a Charleston native). Formerly of Philadelphia, we traded cheesesteaks for cheese grits and I enjoy helping others relocate to the Charleston area.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me writing, reading on the beach, visiting historic houses or treasure hunting in antique and consignment shops.
I’d love to get to know you better and go over your real estate goals. Give me a call now.
