I began my career in journalism and went on to provide marketing and communication services to Fortune 500 companies. If you’ve ever suffered insomnia or enjoyed shopping from your sofa, you may have seen me on TV during my 13 years as a guest host on QVC, the home shopping network. As an advocate for better child protection laws, I formed a political action committee and continue to raise public awareness. I also serve on the board of Savvy Giving By Design’s Charleston chapter, a nonprofit that helps children who are going through a medical crisis.
How does all this make the better Realtor for you? My expertise is rooted in fact-gathering; communication; strategic creativity; sales; negotiation and helping others. These are the skills you deserve in a Realtor.
Formerly of Philadelphia, my family traded cheesesteaks for cheese grits and I enjoy helping others relocate to the Charleston area. Now, I’d love to get to know you better and talk about your real estate goals.
FAVORITE STREET IN CHARLESTON
It’s almost impossible to choose, but I’ll say Church Street. It offers the best mix of Charleston treasures – historical homes, secret gardens, and, of course, Churches.
FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN CHARLESTON
Leon’s on Upper King. The grilled oysters and avocado toast are my go-to combo and my family loves their famed fried chicken.
FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK
Reading on the beach or treasure hunting in antique and consignment shops.
FAVORITE LOCAL PRODUCT
The people! But if we’re when it comes to goods, it’s sweetgrass baskets. The craftsmanship, a skill passed down through generations, and durability makes them beautiful and practical.
FAVORITE ANNUAL EVENT
No one can ever claim to ever be bored in Charleston. I love the events at Boone Hall Plantation, especially the Scottish Highland Games.
MUST-SEE SPOT IN CHARLESTON
Visit our graveyards with a good tour guide. That’s where you’ll find the soul and spirit of Charleston.
My husband, Damian Dachowski, is a talented dentist and drummer (I’m biased but it’s true). You can hear his band play locally in Mount Pleasant after a check-up. Our son attends the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and our daughter graduated Penn State (“We Are”) and works in NYC on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (a Charleston native). Formerly of Philadelphia, we traded cheesesteaks for cheese grits and I enjoy helping others relocate to the Charleston area.
I’d love to get to know you better and go over your real estate goals. Give me a call now.
